The Celtic Way reporter Anthony Haggerty believes Joe Hart has already proven to be a coup signing for Celtic.

Hart made the move to Parkhead from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month and has quickly become a fans’ favourite at the Glasgow club.

Ange Postecoglou, who was named as Celtic’s new manager in June, wanted to strengthen the goalkeeping department ahead of looking to wrestle the Scottish Championship title away from Rangers’ grasp this season.

Hart has quickly made a telling impact and kept four clean sheets in his first six appearances for the Bhoys.

The former England number one, who won 75 caps at international level, made the journey north of the border after featuring just 10 times in a year-long spell with Spurs.

But Haggerty believes Hart has already built a relationship with the Celtic fanbase and argues Postecoglou has already been proven right after taking a chance on the shot-stopper who won the Premier League title with Manchester City.
