Express & Star journalist cannot see Pedro Neto leaving Wolves this summer, largely because of his current injury.

The Portuguese is still recovering from a serious knee injury he picked up towards the end of last season.

Despite that, Neto is still seemingly attracting interest from a host of top European clubs. According to 90min, Liverpool, and Juventus have all made enquiries about the 21-year-old.

Can you see Neto leaving this summer?

No chance!

He was in fine form before succumbing to that injury, averaging the most key passes per league game in Wolves’ squad (via WhoScored), making it no surprise that he has caught the attention of other outfits.

For Hatfield, though, a transfer in this window is probably unlikely. He told TIF:

“No, they won’t [sell]. He’s coming off a really serious patella injury, so it’s one where even a buying club will probably look at that and say, ‘Maybe this is one for next summer.’”

As per The Athletic, Wolves could lose the likes of Ruben Neves and Adama Traore this summer as they look to generate funds for signings.

Considering that, it would be a surprise if they sold the two then also allowed another important player in Neto to leave. Ultimately, a move in the current looks unlikely because of the above and his injury.
