Tottenham fans have had their say on one of the club’s more high-profile players after he was brought to attention by some new online footage.

In a video initially released by Football Daily, new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo can be seen discussing midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. Espirito Santo claims that the Frenchman is ‘not in the right moment to join the group’.

The clip was then shared by The Spurs Web, and it didn’t take long before a lot of the club’s supporters were offering their thoughts on Ndombele.

Here’s what these Spurs fans had to say…

“He’s just lazy and not fit. Jose called him out before and so did Poch.”

“Sounds like Nuno has seen enough & has called time.”

“Four managers all saying the same. The lad’s a lazy liability, move him on and free some wages up for someone who wants to play for the shirt.”

“Hm. Worrying.”
“Get him out.”
“This is our record signing guys, shambles.”

As reported in The Athletic, Ndombele was available for Spurs’ most recent game – a friendly against Arsenal – but was simply not selected by Espirito Santo.

Following this snub, Ndombele has recently been linked with a move away from the club and could end up leaving this summer.

As things stand, it looks as though many Spurs fans would be okay if the Frenchman did find himself a new club. Still, having been signed for a club record of €60m (£53.8m), it might take a decent bid to force Daniel Levy into selling.
