Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet from Fabrizio Romano on Thursday afternoon as he revealed the latest in the Harry Kane transfer saga.
According to the transfer insider, Manchester City are preparing a new bid for the England captain worth in the region of €150m (£127m).
Would you accept £127m for Kane?
The Italian journalist states Spurs’ stance has not changed over Kane and they intend on keeping their main man this summer whilst City continue to play the waiting game.
It is believed Daniel Levy has set Kane’s price tag at nothing less than £150m, even with the player reportedly wishing for a move to the current Premier League champions.
Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from Romano to share their thoughts on the expected bid to arrive at Daniel Levy’s desk from Pep Guardiola’s side.
What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?
“Euros or pounds Fab? Huge difference in fee depending on the currency?”
“Man City think they can lowball us LOL Levy will laugh at this offer “
“£127 mill and no player is laughable – they’re saying Kane is only worth 27 million more than Grealish. £127 million + Laporte possibly…………..”
“Levy is actually bullying Manchester City #THFC #MCFC“
“Wow just wow”
“Lol “waiting” instead of bidding is a horrendous strategy”
Ironically, Spurs kick-off their 2021/22 Premier League campaign with a clash against City on Sunday at their north London home, but it is not certain as to whether Kane will feature in any capacity.
One thing which is clear is the reaction from these Spurs fans, and they are sure this reported bid for their talisman will simply be laughed off by their chairman.
