Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to news surrounding the club and their transfer business.
Spurs have been busy in the summer transfer window so far, bringing in three players to help try and get them back towards challenging for a top-four space, having slid down the pecking order in recent years.
Those three signings have since become four, with the club announcing that they have signed Pape Matar Sarr. However, they won’t be able to utilise him straight away, with the club noting: “The Senegalese international will remain on loan at Metz in Ligue 1 for the rest of the 2021/22 season.”
So he’s going to be one for the future rather than right now, but that didn’t stop Tottenham fans from being excited about hearing the news when it was relayed to them on social media by the club’s account:
“I love it”

So they’re going to have to wait a while to see him in action, but whether or not he’ll be worth the wait of an additional 12 months, we’ll just have to find out this time next year.
