Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer claim to emerge concerning Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

This comes after Spurs-focused Twitter account @Daily_Hotspur shared a post relaying news originally published in an article from The Times.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

The article claimed that the north London club have “stepped up their interest” in Milenkovic, who Fiorentina reportedly value at £13 million.

This post then grabbed the attention of a lot of Tottenham supporters, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest claim.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in response to this claim about the club’s interest in Milenkovic?

Bargain, get it done @SpursOfficial

@__dom____

“Get it done Levy. £13m. Give them 15m and just get the deal done. In this market spending time negotiating doesn’t leave you with the player you want.”

@llewi01

“OMG A STEAL”

@ParishLizzie

“Superb value but let’s look further up the field too.”

@pablonicus

“Just sounds like a bargain to me!! Worth a punt surely??”

@sabsharpe

12 days left @SpursOfficial get a move on”

@Daniely79

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Spurs fans think their club should definitely make a move to sign Milenkovic before the summer transfer window deadline comes around.

Do you think Spurs should sign Milenkovic this summer?

Yes

No

No

Given how the club let go of Toby Alderweireld earlier this summer, perhaps the 23-year-old could be the right person to replace the Belgian on a long-term basis.

In our view, even though Spurs managed to keep a clean sheet with Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez at the back during their recent 1-0 win over Premier League champions Manchester City – who scored more league goals (83) than any other team last season – and also secured the signature of Cristian Romero, we feel that Spurs should still try and sign Milenkovic this summer, especially if they can get him for the reported fee of £13 million.
