With the transfer market edging towards its end, the latest update on a Tottenham summer target has fans online very excited.
The future of Harry Kane is still up in the air, Tottenham may need to be in the market for a new striker this summer.
One man who has been linked with a move to north London is Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, and Sky Sports recently confirmed that the Fiorentina forward is currently on Spurs’ transfer radar.
The update was shared on Twitter, and it didn’t take long before many of the club’s faithful were expressing their delight.
“This man, I can’t big him up enough. So excited if we do land him. He’s so exciting.”
Vlahovic scored 21 goals in 37 appearances for Fiorentina last season and is believed to be valued somewhere in the region of £51m.
The same Sky Sports report claims the club are also weighing up a move for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez. However, with Romelu Lukaku now close to signing for Chelsea, Inter may be unwilling to sell another one of their stars.
So, if Kane is sold and Martinez won’t leave Inter, a move for Vlahovic looks like it could well be on the cards for Tottenham this summer.
