Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the performance of Davinson Sanchez during their game against Wolves in the Premier League.

Spurs came into the game off the back of an inconsistent start to the year having beaten Manchester City on the opening day of the Premier League season before losing to Pacos de Ferreira in the Europa Conference League qualifiers, albeit with a slightly weakened team.

A lot of the talk coming into the game surrounded matters off the pitch, such as the ongoing drama surrounding Harry Kane and the return of head coach Nuno Espirito Santo to Molineux having left in the summer following four seasons in charge there.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

In terms of on the pitch matters, Spurs took all three points thanks to a first-half penalty from Dele Alli, but one player who came in for some significant criticism for his display during the game was the Colombian defender and the supporters did not hold back their feelings about him on social media:

“Horrible half of football. Technically so poor all over the pitch. Everything’s rushed & loose which is putting us under constant pressure. Equaliser is coming unless it changes. Sanchez looks a calamity again – shock.”

“Sanchez is a liability”
“Davinson Sanchez is not consistent enough to be a top level cb this is why we desperately need to sell him”
“Davinson Sanchez back to being Davinson Sanchez. So hard to watch.”
“That’s the Davinson Sanchez we all know and hate”
“Unfortunately last week was an aberration and Sanchez has now reverted back to being a deer on ice”

Should Spurs keep or sell Sanchez this summer?

Keep

Keep

Sell

Sell

It’s still early in the season with not much at stake so far, but hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come moving ahead this campaign.
