fans have been reacting to claims surrounding Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

The Portuguese midfielder was a key member of the club when current Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo was at Molineux, as he was a near-ever-present as they achieved back-to-back 7th-place finishes in the top flight, and even before that in the Championship, where he scored some impressive goals as they won the title in their first seasons in England.

Now, though, it looks as if the two men could be set to reunite after a few months apart and meet up again in north London. According to a claim on Twitter from Portuguese journalist Pedro Almeida, the 24-year-old is negotiating ‘a long-term contract’ with Nuno’s side ahead of a potential €40m (£34.3m) deal.

He wouldn’t be the first Wolves player to be linked to Spurs in recent weeks, with Adama Traore also thought to be of interest in north London.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

“That would be a brilliant signing. Let’s get a big move done today.”

“Excellent player, I’d be more than happy with him. Takes a decent set piece too, which is something we’ve lacked for a while.”
“Wow!”
“THE DAY STARTS GOOD!!”
“Omg”
“This can’t be real”
“BETTER than Adama Traore”
“Unbelievable signing.”
