A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet from Alasdair Gold to share their thoughts on his latest claim on Tanguy Ndombele.
Ahead of Tottenham’s Europa Conference League clash against Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday, Spurs have confirmed their French midfielder is not included in their 25-man squad.
Ndombele’s future in north London has been under serious questioning recently, with the 24-year-old said to be unhappy at the expected departure of his two friends, Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko.
Fans flocked to the tweet from the Tottenham correspondent to share their thoughts on the situation which is surrounding their club-record signing.
What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?
“Getting more and more worrying regarding the Ndombele situation, can’t even make the squad for a Conference play-off leg. Such a shame, there is an amazingly talented player in there.”
“Nuno doesn’t fancy Big Tanguy. He isn’t being rude about him but he won’t pick him. Sad but there we are.”
“Think that has to be the end for Ndombele”
“Very worrying about Ndombele”
“That’s very strange”
“Why? Nuno has an agenda against Tanguy!”
Spurs opened their 2021/22 Premier League campaign under Nuno Espirito Santo with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City, for which the Frenchman was not a part of the squad.
Ndombele has been spotted in Spurs training this summer, however, it seems his lack of action under Nuno Espirito Santo has these fans feeling his time in north London is coming to an end.
