Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to social media following the latest news which links them with one of the game’s most exciting prospects.
A report from 90min claims that the north London club are interested in signing Barcelona’s Ilaix Moriba and have gone as far as to speak with his representatives.
The same article explains, however, that Tottenham may face stiff competition for the youngster, with a number of other big clubs also monitoring his progress – Arsenal and Liverpool are said to have also spoken with Moriba’s representatives.
It also outlines that he has been banished to train with Barcelona’s youth team as he has one year left on his contract but is yet to commit his future to the club.

The Catalan giants rated Moriba so highly, they added an £86m release clause to his contract when he was just 16 years old.
