A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts at the latest news to emerge from the north London club.

On Monday afternoon, it was revealed Spurs will face either FC Pacos De Ferreira or Larne FC in their play-off tie to qualify for the Europa Conference League.

Will Spurs win the Europa Conference League?

The first leg of the tie will take place on 19th August and the second leg a week later on 26th August.

Tottenham have the chance to qualify for the Europa Conference League group stage following their seventh-place finish in the League in the 2020/21 season.

However, Spurs fans were not left impressed they flocked to the tweet from the club’s official Twitter account announcing their upcoming European games.

What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?

“What are we doing lol”

“I’m in tears”
Final to this in 2 years Well done Daniel Levy, not sure many could have achieved such a decline in such a short period of time”
“I feel so ashamed looking at this”
“Joke of a club”

If Spurs are able to progress from the tie, they will enter the draw for the group stages which will take place on 27th August, with the tournament beginning on 16 September.

It is apparent these Spurs fans are not overly keen on the idea of the newly formed Europa Conference League with the heights of their 2019 Champions League final now a distant memory.
