The start for the Spaniard earned him his debut for the north London side after making the move to the Premier League back in July from Sevilla.

The deal for Gil was made possible through Spurs offloading Erik Lamela to the La Liga side with a reported £21.6m fee to accompany the Argentine who had spent eight years with Spurs.
Gil put pen to paper on a five-year deal and it is apparent these Tottenham fans are thrilled at their first sighting of the youngster in a Spurs shirt.
