Fabrizio Romano has been speaking on the latest YouTube video from Robbie Lyle to discuss potential Premier League arrivals and departure in the final weeks of the transfer window.

Discussing potential summer switches, the Italian journalist spoke about Tottenham Hotspur’s reported interest in Houssem Aouar from Lyon.

Would you like to see Spurs sign Aouar this summer?

It is believed the Lilywhites are looking at the midfielder as a potential option this summer with their north London rivals, Arsenal, also said to be interested. According to reports in France, Lyon are now actively looking to sell the 23-year-old this summer and would be willing to accept a cut-price deal for him.

The £37.8m-rated ace has started in both of Lyon’s Ligue 1 games this season, however, discussing where his future may lie this summer, Romano had the following to say:

“I think it’s a complicated situation on the agent’s side because as they said in France, it’s true that there is a situation to keep an eye on the agent’s side.

“And that’s why I will keep an eye on Aouar until the last day of the window. Because now still some rumours we have with Tottenham and with Arsenal, and these two clubs are really interested in Aouar.”

TIF Thoughts on Spurs’ midfield…

Reports have emerged over the course of the last week suggesting Tanguy Ndombele has told the north London club of his desire to leave this summer. If this is the case, Spurs could be left to find an alternative for their French midfielder this summer. However, we are struggling to see which clubs would be in the market for Ndombele if he is wanting to leave.

The 24-year-old is Tottenham’s club-record transfer so it is unlikely Daniel Levy will be allowing Ndombele to leave and take a big loss on what they paid for him.
