Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an update from Fabrizio Romano regarding Dusan Vlahovic, who has regularly been linked with a move to North London.
The Fiorentina forward has been touted as a potential option for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side throughout the window but it seems as if he will remain with the Serie A side this summer after Romano shared some quotes from Vlahovic, in which he said:
“I’ve received top proposals this summer, really big also for the club but I was never pushing to leave. I wanted to stay at Fiorentina… and I’m staying, yes.”

Would Vlahovic have been a good signing?
Although it has now been confirmed that Harry Kane will remain at Spurs this summer, signing Vlahovic could have been a great long-term option for Spurs, especially if the England captain does ever leave the North London club.
Last season saw the Serbia international contribute a superb 21 goals and three assists in 34 Serie A appearances and at 21-years-old, it seems as if he is only going to get better.
Therefore, if he enjoys another successful season with Fiorentina then it seems clear that the vast majority of Spurs fans would like to see their side try and sign him again in the future.
