Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge fears Crystal Palace could suffer relegation this season.
It is a new era at Selhurst Park after Roy Hodgson’s reign came to an end last term and Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira was named as his successor in July.
Vieira’s appointment came after a lengthy managerial search which saw the club initially target now-Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and former Borussia Dortmund chief Lucien Favre.
Will Palace get relegated this season?
Yes
No
The new manager reacted by making a host of exciting signings with an eye to the future as Marc Guehi completed an £18million switch from Chelsea and Reading ace Michael Olise also joined the Eagles.
But Palace have made an underwhelming start to the new Premier League campaign and went into the weekend having failed to find the back of the net in their first two fixtures.
Bridge believes the Eagles could be involved in a relegation battle this term.
He told TIF: “I’m not going to lie, I’m a little bit worried about Palace this season.”
