A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to react to the latest transfer claim to emerge in their reported pursuit of Arsenal’s Joe Willock.
According to The Telegraph’s
Mike McGrath, the Magpies have agreed on personal terms with the midfielder and he will now complete his permanent return to Tyneside.
reported last week the two clubs had agreed on a fee for the 21-year-old Englishman, however, personal terms were to be resolved.
Mikel Arteta originally
suggested the London-born midfielder was in his plans for the upcoming 2021/22 season, but now Willock looks set for a St. James’ return – and these Toon fans were delighted to hear the news.
What exactly did these Toon fans have to say?
“I FEEL LIKE DREAMINGGGG”
“Hallelujah, praise the Lord”
“Yes get in”
“Hopefully this is finally done now”
“ Breakthrough at last. The Willock saga seems to be almost over now. #NUFC“
“Great news…who is next Luke….come on…..gives us a hint. Close??”
believed the deal for the 21-year-old is worth in the region of around £22m and Willock will reportedly sign a six-year deal with Steve Bruce’s side.
There is no surprise these
Newcastle fans are delighted following Willock’s incredible loan spell at the Tyneside club last season which saw him end the campaign as their second-highest goalscorer.
