A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to Twitter to voice their thoughts at an image to emerge from their Carabao Cup defeat against Burnley.
Newcastle were knocked out of the competition on Wednesday night by Sean Dyche’s side on penalties but it is an image of Steve Bruce standing outside of the players’ huddle which has sparked fury among the fans.
Should Steve Bruce have been sacked by now?
Yes
No
The image shows the Toon manager stood slightly away from his team, in what appears to be a team talk huddle with Graeme Jones leading the discussion.
And the Newcastle faithful flocked to the tweet sharing the image to share their sheer frustration with the 60-year-old as they question his power over the players.
What exactly did these Toon fans have to say?
“Self-proclaimed man-manager, gets his team organised and hard to beat”
Newcastle are without a point from their opening two Premier League games having suffered defeats at home to West Ham United and away to Aston Villa already.
It is a clash against Southampton at St. James’ Park next up for the Magpies and it seems patience is already wearing thin among these Toon fans.
