A lot of Leeds United fans are fuming on Twitter over Marcelo Bielsa’s latest comments about potential new signings.

Speaking after his side’s 1-1 draw away to Burnley on Sunday (as per journalist Adam Pope), Bielsa claimed that ‘he thinks not‘ when asked if there is likely to be any more business done before Tuesday’s deadline, with the Whites still yet to win their first game of the Premier League season.

Should Leeds sign Lang before the deadline?

Leeds have looked shaky at the back and less dangerous going forward compared to last campaign, as they’ve conceded eight goals in three league games scoring four in that same time, this in comparison to their first three league games of last year which saw them concede seven and score eight in their opening three league games.

Many Leeds fans are not happy on Twitter with Bielsa’s comments.

What have these Leeds fans been saying?

Such an odd strategy this summer. We don’t need to spend a fortune to actually improve. Head-scratching #lufc

@VOYNlCH

Very naive if true”

@jack_glennie

We’re finished”

@Iufcjack

This summer has been a shambles, Kinnear and the club go on about how the 23s are the depth yet Bielsa clearly doesn’t trust them, our options off the bench are a joke”

“Madness”

@OParkin

Leeds have managed to sign three players this summer, but with one of them being former loanee Jack Harrison on a permanent deal, it can be understood why fans may be concerned at the lack of activity in this summer’s transfer window.

Who was Bielsa's first competitive game as Leeds manager against?

On the bench for Leeds on Sunday against Burnley, apart from Helder Costa and Tyler Roberts, only Jamie Shackleton had started a game for the Whites in the league last season, which highlights the lack of depth that will be worrying Leeds fans.
