Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest team news ahead of the Yorkshire club’s upcoming Premier League match against Burnley.

This comes after Leeds journalist Phil Hay shared a post on his official Twitter account relaying news originally shared by Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa during his recent press conference ahead of the clash against Sean Dyche’s side.

First up in this 2020/21 LUFC quiz, which of these players did NOT score against Liverpool in the 4-3 defeat at Anfield?

In the press conference, Bielsa revealed that Robin Koch will not be available to play this weekend as he is still recovering from injury but that he thinks Diego Llorente is ready to play 90 minutes.

This post from Hay then gathered a lot of replies from numerous Whites supporters who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on this latest news.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this latest team news ahead of the Burnley match?

Llorente could be a huge boost – wonder who Bielsa would drop if Llorente started on Sunday #LUFC

@ThruItAllLUFC

“We need to pray Llorente stays fit this season.”

@RaskolnikovRoss

I so hope Llorente and Pascal at the back when we line up Sunday #LUFC #MOT

@Chris1Bairstow

“Has to be Llorente in for Cooper surely”

@Carl_Uk_

“Hopefully it’s Llorente and Struijk Sunday then”

@langelmessi2

“So basically confirming Llorente starts then”

@Seanrh11

Looking at the replies to this post from Hay, it seems as though these Leeds fans are hopeful that Llorente will play against Burnley and is able to keep his fitness up for the remainder of the season.

Would you start Diego Llorente against Burnley?

Yes

Yes

No

No

This shows, that despite only making 16 appearances for the Yorkshire club since joining them back in the 2020 summer transfer window from Spanish club Real Sociedad, these Leeds fans are big fans of the defender and recognise how good he is.

In our view, given how Leeds have already conceded seven goals in the Premier League so far this season, perhaps it would be the best option to hand Llorente his first league start of the season if they feel he can improve their defence.
