Leeds United fans have reacted with delight after the club announced they have signed Celtic defender Leo Hjelde.
United told their fans they had signed the 18-year-old on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The Norwegian becomes the club’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window and will initially link up with the Under-23 side.
The club’s official Twitter page released the news online and it didn’t take long before a collection of Leeds fans flocked to the announcement.
Here’s what these Leeds fans said…
“SUUUUUIIII.”
With multiple caps at international youth level and a loan spell Scottish Premiership side Ross County already under his belt, it looks as though the teenager has a very bright future indeed.
Though at such a tender age, it may take some time before the United fans get to see him in action for the senior team – they might well have to be patient on this one just yet.
