David Norris believes Leeds United may have missed out on transfer targets because of the extensive wait for Marcelo Bielsa to sign a new deal.
Head coach Bielsa penned a fresh one-year contract just a matter of days before the new Premier League campaign got underway.
The Argentinian took charge of Leeds in the summer of 2018 and has gone on to become a cult hero after leading the Whites back into the top flight following a 16-year wait.

He has strengthened his options during the transfer window, with Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo joining for £13million and Kristoffer Klaesson making the switch from Valerenga.
Jack Harrison has also completed a permanent move to Elland Road after a succession of successful loan spells.
But Leeds have failed to bring in a host of other targets, including Conor Gallagher as the midfielder opted to join Crystal Palace on loan from Chelsea instead.
Former Whites midfielder Norris believes waiting to sign fresh terms has backfired for Bielsa in the transfer market.
He told TIF: “When it comes to signing players, they move for the manager quite a lot of the time. The manager will be the one that sells it to them.
“They might have even lost out on three or four players because of not knowing what is going on with Bielsa.”
