No
However, whilst Eagles boss Patrick Vieira also has Jordan Ayew at his disposal, Palace are likely to need a third number striker to bolster their frontline this window.
Tammy Abraham has been the name on everyone’s lips, but Gunners youngster Nketiah is wanted by the former Arsenal midfielder, according to The Sun.
With Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both comfortably ahead of the 22-year-old in the Arsenal pecking order, Nketiah may have to look elsewhere for regular minutes having made just four Premier League starts last season.
Palace tend to play with just one striker, but Bent was asked whether Nketiah could potentially partner Benteke upfront.
He exclusively told This is Futbol:
“To bring someone in to play alongside him, I don’t think that would work.
“To play in the Premier League, it’s exciting, you get confidence from that, he’s a talented player, so maybe he could go in there and take over Benteke.”
