Journalist Jack Rosser believes that Wilfried Zaha will have been impressed by Crystal Palace’s summer business.

The Eagles have been aggressive in the transfer market since appointing Patrick Vieira as their new manager.

Defender Marc Guehi has arrived from Chelsea, while Joachim Andersen has come in from Lyon after spending last season on loan at Fulham.

Along with those two, Palace have also signed Michael Olise from Reading, as the club look to reshape their squad in the wake of a variety of players leaving on free transfers.

Zaha, of course, has reportedly asked to leave the club this summer as he bids to take the next step in his career.

But Rosser, the London Evening Standard journalist, thinks that the former Manchester United winger will have been impressed by this summer’s business, and thinks he will be excited by the prospect of playing alongside Olise and the currently injured Eberechi Eze.

He said: “I think most of the squad will be impressed with what’s happening. I think once they’re all fit, Wilf will be quite excited by the prospect of playing with and nurturing Olise and Eze going forward.”
