On the latest episode of the Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano has been discussing all things transfer-related.

One player who the insider spoke about was Manchester United winger Amad Diallo, who is reportedly on the radar for Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace this summer.

Should Diallo join Crystal Palace on loan?

Yes

Yes

No

No

It is believed the arrival of Jadon Sancho will limit the chances the 19-year-old is likely to get in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side this season and will, therefore, be allowed to leave on loan.

The youngster is also reportedly receiving interest from FC Basel and Sheffield United this summer, but Romano believes he is looking to remain in the Premier League.

Diallo joined the Red Devils back in January from Atalanta for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £19.17m and discussing where his future may lie, Romano had the following to say.

“Amad will go on loan. It is confirmed. He has a proposal from Basel but also from a Premier League club, Crystal Palace; Sheffield [United] – many clubs are interested in Amad.

“But he has not decided yet. [He will be speaking] with his agent in the next few days together also with Manchester United. He wants Premier League football, so let’s see what happens.”

TIF Thoughts on Diallo’s future…

We think Crystal Palace could prove to be a great move for the youngster, with his near future seemingly away from Old Trafford.

Palace have added a number of young players over the course of the last year to their squad with Eberechi Eze, in particular, excelling for the Eagles last season.

Although the Eagles seem to be building their squad around youth at the moment, the winger would have the experienced Wilfried Zaha to learn from at Selhurst Park.

The biggest pro of a potential move to Palace, in our opinion, would be the chance for the 19-year-old to get Premier League games under his belt, which would only help his chances at United.
