Speaking on the latest episode of Baggies Broadcast, Joseph Masi spoke about West Brom’s search for a new striker.

Masi has recently reported that West Brom have Daryl Dike and Liam Delap on their shortlist of strikers they’d like to bring into the club, although both of them are options to sign on loan deals, with the former working under Valerien Ismael at Barnsley last season.

Who should West Brom sign?

Dike?

Dike?

Delap?

Delap?

The Baggies currently have three recognised strikers on their books in the form of Callum Robinson, Karlan Grant and Kenneth Zohore, but that has not stopped Ismael from looking to add even more firepower to his squad.

Masi spoke about where West Brom stand in terms of bringing in a new striker.

“All I can say is for certain that Albion are working to bring in a striker. They are working to do that.

“There’s no guarantee they will, because you can never guarantee it, but I thoroughly expect them to sign a striker before the transfer window closes and I think everyone knows they need an out-and-out centre-forward in the squad.”

TIF Thoughts on West Brom’s striker search…

Considering Ismael brought in Dike from Orlando City last season on loan shows that he trusts him and if he wants to sign him once again, the manager must’ve been impressed by what the American did, and his nine goals will have done him the world of good especially with him never playing outside of America before.

In terms of Delap, every club in the Championship would like to sign him on loan from Manchester City, according to former Stoke City boss Gary Rowett, with the 18-year old striker having already made his debut for the first team, the Baggies may face stern competition from several other clubs for his signature.
