After some news broke which outlined details of a potential new signing, West Bromwich Albion fans gathered online to offer their opinions.
As reported in the Express & Star, Albion want to sign a striker before the transfer window closes and they have their eye on Orlando City striker Daryl Dike.
The report details how Dike was a revelation on loan at Barnsley last season, scoring nine goals in 13 starts.
WBA Report shared the information on Twitter, which explained that the club would seek a loan-to-buy deal dependent on their success in the Championship this term – and it didn’t take long before the club’s faithful shared their thoughts on the matter.

When you consider the success Dike had last season working under new Baggies boss Valerien Ismael, it’s no wonder that these fans are getting excited over the prospect of a reunion.
Express & Star also claimed that if the loan deal is agreed, Dike would become a permanent signing if the club can achieve promotion this season.
You would imagine it’s quite likely all parties would be satisfied if such an outcome did occur.
Having not been able to get promoted under Ismael at Barnsley, it could be argued Dike and the Baggies would have a greater chance of doing so this year should they join forces, especially if he can recreate last year’s form for a club searching for their second promotion in three seasons.
