Bale has now returned to the Spanish capital following his season-long loan back in north London but the 31-year-old is yet to comment on where his future lies.

Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from The Spurs Express relaying the claim from Marca to show their frustration towards Levy.

What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?

Spurs have already announced two pre-season friendlies in August against their London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal in a mini-tournament for the Mind charity.

Going by the reaction of these Tottenham fans, it would appear they are far from pleased with their chairman, which will not have been helped by their long wait to appoint Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager.
