Following the game, the club’s official Twitter account posted a video of Dele-Bashiru’s goal. Many Wednesday fans began talking about it and they were left buzzing.

What did SWFC fans make of this tweet?

“Really rate Fizzy. Showed glimpses last season but the injury at Brentford came at a bad time. Think he’ll be a player for us this season and although only a friendly that goal (what a strike by the way) will have done him wonders going into the season.

These Wednesday fans are clearly loving the video involving the 20-year-old midfielder and they’re making their delight clear about it.

20-year-old Dele-Bashiru joined Wednesday permanently last summer after having come through the academy at Manchester City.

He had played often for the City youth side, so has plenty of minutes under his belt despite his age. The youngster offers the versatility of playing in various roles as well, which will help the Owls.

So Wednesday fans can certainly hope that this goal helps the midfielder gain some confidence and become an important player.
