A lot of Celtic fans have been revelling on Twitter at the fact they appear set to sell Kristoffer Ajer to Brentford.
Reports have started to circulate that Celtic are set to sell Ajer to newly-promoted Brentford, with the Bees willing to pay £13.5 million for the defender, who will be out of contract next summer.

Ajer was not short of suitors this summer, with fellow promoted side Norwich City reportedly interested in him, as well as cash-strapped Newcastle United.

Adding a player like Ajer to Brentford’s side is a smart move from the Bees, with Ajer not only an in-demand defender, but a threat in the opposition’s box as well, with two goals and three assists last season.
Celtic fans will be hoping that the money is reinvested into the squad after they fell way short of challenging their rivals Rangers for the SPFL title last season.
