Furuhashi recently tweeted about Celtic, saying that it is a dream come true for him to sign for the Bhoys and he can’t wait to play at Paradise this season.

The Japanese star joined the club earlier this month, and the player is now training having completed a period of quarantine, and could be available for the club’s Premiership opener against Hearts, according to Ange Postecoglou.

Furuhashi had quite an impressive goalscoring record during his time at Vissel Kobe as during the previous season, he found the net as many as 15 times in 21 league games, while getting two assists as well. In the 2020 J.League season, he directly contributed to 17 goals for Vissel Kobe.

The Japanese winger is clearly a proven goalscorer and he can also play a variety of positions. So a lot of things suggest that he could be quite a good signing for the club.
