Many Celtic fans have been talking about a video involving Ange Postecoglou that recently emerged on social media.

The official Celtic Twitter account recently posted a video of Postecoglou talking about the club’s performance following their 6-2 defeat to West Ham United in a pre-season friendly.

Talking about the game, Postecoglou said that the side didn’t take the opportunity to test themselves against a quality West Ham side. He believes that the defeat was down to a lack of organisation and a bit of it was self-inflicted. He believes that the team started well and then just collapsed.

The video involving the Australian drew the attention of many Celtic fans, who began talking about it.

What did Celtic fans make of this video?

“It’s a total joke that as a club were in this position the board should be ashamed as a fan I am in disbelief with the state of our squad with a week to go until the league kicks off!

“Shocking Celtic get this man a new backline and keeper we are going to get beat by Hearts and out the CL judging by today.”

“Save yourself before it’s too late big man. That board that has hired you are running this club into the ground and even the best coach in the world wouldn’t succeed.

These Celtic fans don’t believe that Postecoglou has been backed in the right way by the club and they’re frustrated about that.

Postecoglou was appointed by the Bhoys only after the club’s chase of Eddie Howe had fallen through, which shows that the Australian wasn’t the club’s first choice.

Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

The defeat to West Ham should not be considered too seriously, considering that it was only a friendly and the fact that the Hoops have a much more important Champions League qualifier coming up. How they perform against Midtjylland will be a better reflection of the team’s progress.
