Celtic fans have been reacting to footage of Vasilis Barkas that came out of their game against FC Midtjylland in the Champions League qualifiers.

The Ange Postecoglou era got off to a reasonable start, as they managed to grab a 1-1 draw with the Danish side at Celtic Park, as the home side took the lead through debutant Liel Abada.

The away side managed to claw their way back into the game in the second half after a free-kick from Brazilian Evander – an effort that has left a lot of people asking questions about Celtic’s Greek shot-stopper as he allowed the ball to go over his hands and into the net.

Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

The footage was posted online by broadcaster Premier Sports, and there were a number of supporters who were quick to slam the Greek for his mistake:

“He never makes a save. Time to look for another ‘keeper.”

“That’s what happens when you get a manager from a backwater league who knows nothing about our game. He’s watched nothing, if he had he would know he cannot be trusted. Barkas is stealing a living here.”
“Poppadom hands”
“Absolute horrific goalkeeping to let that in especially as his positioning was spot on”
“Thankfully will be replaced now”
“Did he think it was going out of play? Can’t believe he moved his hands .”
