Many Celtic fans have been raving at young Owen Moffat following the club’s pre-season game against Sheffield Wednesday.
Moffat had started for the Bhoys in the pre-season game against Sheffield Wednesday and while Ange Postecoglou’s men did find themselves 1-0 down against the Yorkshire-based side, goals from Albian Ajeti and Moffat helped Celtic turn the tie around.

Moffat is still only 19 and he has been part of the Celtic Reserves’ side, having previously been with the Under-20s outfit too. The youngster is an attacking midfielder by trade. Many Celtic fans were talking about the youngster and they made their views clear about Moffat.

The Hoops’ midfielder Ryan Christie has been linked with a move to the Premier League, as both Crystal Palace and Norwich City have been linked with the Scotsman. Burnley are also said to have a liking for the midfielder.
His exit would make sure that there may be space for someone else to come in to the attacking midfield spot and that could give a chance to Moffat. Having said that, the youngster has impressed in only one game and he might have to perform in the next few games to have a chance of playing in the first-team.
