Many Celtic fans have been talking about a tweet involving Albian Ajeti that emerged on social media.
Albian Ajeti was named as Celtic’s captain in the club’s recent friendly against Sheffield Wednesday and the Swiss striker scored the club’s first goal of the game during the outing in Wales. The striker was substituted later on as the Hoops managed to win the game 3-1.

Ajeti’s goal – the first with Ange Postecoglou in the dugout – was relayed on Twitter as many Hoops fans made their views clear regarding the striker.

Ajeti had failed to become a regular in the 2020/21 campaign for the Bhoys, as he played just 19 games in the Premiership and he featured in only 30 games in all competitions. The ex-West Ham man also scored just six times in all competitions (as per Transfermarkt).
It shows that he didn’t really have a great season and questions had emerged regarding his fitness, too.
So to see Ajeti scoring against the Owls should be a big positive for the Bhoys. Having a full pre-season under his belt could give the striker a chance to have a much improved campaign.
