Many Celtic fans have been talking about the club’s latest tweet regarding what the club will be wearing next season.
The official Celtic account recently posted an image of the club’s home kit for the 2021/22 season. The design had the green and white Hoops on it, but the caption of the tweet had the phrase ‘it’s coming home’, presumably mocking the England national team for their failure to win the Euros following a penalty shootout to Italy at Wembley.
Do you like this new home kit?
The inside of the shirt’s neck area had ‘our city’ and ‘our colours’ written on it and the tweet from the club’s account drew the attention of many Celtic fans, who began talking about it.
What did Celtic fans make of this tweet?
“Love it. Better than the NB one that everyone keeps mentioning, more like the 1985 Scottish Cup Final kit.“
“SHOW ME THE REST RIGHT NOW.”
“It’s coming home ahahah.”
“Get it released.”
So the jersey clearly has some fresh designs and it is perhaps a reminder of the club’s impressive 2015/16 campaign too. That, combined with the club account’s trick of mocking the England national team, it is easy to see why Celtic fans are reacting positively to this announcement.
