Many Celtic fans have been talking about a claim regarding Ange Postecoglou’s staff that emerged on social media recently.

Football agent Tony Rallis recently talked about Ange Postecoglou when he appeared on the Triple M podcast. He stated that the Australian has been told that he has to develop and get his coaching staff from within the club. The new Hoops boss wasn’t allowed to take members of his own staff with him, as a result.

The Hoops are yet to appoint a new staff member yet, while both Gavin Strachan and John Kennedy continue to work at the club.

Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

Even when the Hoops were in talks to appoint Eddie Howe, the Englishman had agreed to have both Strachan and Kennedy as his staff members. This might indicate that the Bhoys do indeed want to keep the duo at the club, regardless of who the manager is and Postecoglou might have to keep them as well.

So even though Postecoglou may want someone that he knows well from his experiences in Australia or Japan, it doesn’t seem as if that can happen at Parkhead.
