Many Celtic fans have been discussing a transfer that recently emerged on social media.

Journalist Marko Jerlekovic has reported about Celtic, claiming that the Hoops have made contact in an attempt to sign winger Kristijan Lovric.

He stated that things are now ‘getting serious’ on that front, even though the Hoops haven’t made an offer yet. Serie A side Hellas Verona are also said to be interested in the winger. His club, HNK Gorica, want a fee of €5 million (£4.2 million) to let the 25-year-old leave this summer.

Lovric is capable of playing on the left or right wing, but he can also play as a second-striker. Mohamed Elyounoussi’s loan stint at the club has now ended, so the Croatian can add depth in the wide areas, with Ryan Christie also being linked with an exit this summer.
