A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have expressed their delight on Twitter over Nuno Espirito Santo’s latest comments on Harry Kane’s future.

There has been speculation over Kane’s future with Manchester City very much interested in the striker having lodged a £100 million bid earlier in the summer.

Should Kane leave Spurs?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Kane did his reputation no harm at the Euros as he finished the tournament having guided England to a final and scored four goals.

Espirito Santo’s first press conference saw the Portuguese coach speak about Kane’s future, saying (via Football.london): “Harry is our player, period. No need to talk about anything else. Now is the moment for Harry to recover his energy, to rest. When he comes again we will have time to speak.

“We will have good conversations, but now is the moment for Harry to rest and to prepare for what’s coming, and I’m looking forward to him joining the group and start working together.”

Many Spurs fans appear to be delighted on Twitter over the way Nuno spoke after footage was shared online.

What have Tottenham fans had to say?

It would undoubtedly be a huge blow to Spurs if Kane was to leave as it would be almost impossible to replace his goals and assists from last season, especially with no Champions League football to offer potential signings to replace the striker.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

Nuno has reportedly been told that Kane will be remaining with Tottenham, which will be a huge boost to the new manager as he attempts to get the club higher up the league than their seventh-place finish last season.
