This comes as Spurs-focused account Hotspur Related relayed a claim from Football.london’s Tottenham Hotspur correspondent Alasdair Gold that Spurs will listen to offers for both Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks this summer.
Fans flocked to the tweet to give their thoughts on the potential sale of the two midfielders…
“Get them gone. Aouar and Kessie or Sabitzer please. I want to see players holding up the shirt..”
“Who would buy them?”
“IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY”
“Music to my ears”
“Woke up to beautiful news”
“The good times keep on coming”
“Best thing I’ve woken up to”
“Can the week get any better”
Spurs have a new look after appointing a new director of football in Fabio Paratici as well as new manager Nuno Espirito Santo, and it seems as though Winks and Sissoko might be two players who aren’t in Spurs’ plans moving forwards.
A report from Manchester Evening News suggests that Winks may be on Manchester United’s radar as they look for a new midfielder this summer, whilst Sissoko has been linked with a move to Italian side Napoli by Sky Italia.
Judging by the reaction from Spurs fans, they’d be happy to see the back of both Sissoko and Winks as the club prepares for life under new management.
