Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to footage of Oliver Skipp coming out of their friendly game with MK Dons.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side ran out 3-1 winners at Stadium MK last night, with Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura grabbing the goals as the club continued their preparations for the upcoming season.
But it wasn’t necessarily the players that were on the scoresheet that were getting all the attention on social media. Some of that was reserved for 20-year-old midfielder Skipp, who continues to get minutes under his belt with the first team after his loan to Norwich City last year in the Championship.
And he certainly left his mark on the game with the club sharing footage on social media of a well-placed cross-field ball to Maksim Paskotši that led to a counter-attacking opportunity, and it certainly left a number of fans impressed:
“Phwaaaaaaaa this is next level”
Will Oliver Skipp start over 15 Premier League games this season?
Yes
No
It’s all well and good impressing the fans, now he just needs to make sure he’s done enough to impress Nuno to make him part of the first team plans once the season begins.
