Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to footage of Oliver Skipp that has come out of their pre-season victory over Colchester United.
Spurs ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at the JobServe Community Stadium, with goals from Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Dele Alli securing the win, but there was more to the game than just the final result.
The game also provided an opportunity for players to showcase their abilities in front of new boss Nuno Espirito Santo, and Skipp certainly appears to have taken his opportunity to do so.
The club posted footage of this pass by the youngster that switched play from one side of the field to the other, and when the clip was relayed to fans by @TalkingTHFC on Twitter, there were plenty of them who were left in awe of his ability:
“Star in the making”
Should Oliver Skipp start for Spurs next season?
Yes
No
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Championship side Norwich City where he was a near ever-present as they topped the division, with his performances enough to see him named in the PFA Team of the Year and coming third in the club’s Player of the Year honours, and he’ll surely be hoping to make similar impressions on the Spurs side further down the line.
