Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to claims surrounding the futures of Serge Aurier and Davinson Sánchez.

There have been some incomings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, with the arrivals of both Nuno Espirito Santo as head coach and Fabio Paratici as director of football, but it looks like the club are set for a number of outgoings as well.

According to reports from The Athletic, Aurier is set to be allowed to leave, although a move to his former club Paris Saint-Germain isn’t going to be possible because of some issues during his time at the club, whilst the club will ‘listen to offers’ for Sanchez if they were to come along.

This news was relayed to fans via @HotspurRelated on Twitter for them to react to, and it seemed like there was plenty of delight about the idea of them leaving, although they seemed to think it might be hard for them to actually get rid of both players:

“YESSSSS”

“I love it. Try swapping Sanchez for Botman?”
“Jolly good!!!”
“Small steps – the hard part finding anyone to pay for them……”
“Best news I’ve heard all day .. need good replacements”
“Well we’ll have to wait forever then, cause whatever the offer Daniel wants more yet when buying (very rarely new players) he wants to pay less. Not a football brain cell anywhere on his body”
“Better late than never, but who’s replacing them?”

Do you want Aurier to be sold this summer?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Aurier and Sanchez made 27 and 32 appearances respectively last season amid plenty of competition for places, and these moves could simply be a case of Nuno wanting to simplify the squad in order to get it to in a place where he feels comfortable in his new role.
