Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to news surrounding a potential bid for Inter defender Milan Skriniar.
The Slovakian, valued at £54m on Transfermarkt, has been a long-term target for Spurs, having been identified by Jose Mourinho as far back as December 2019, with the north London club reportedly making a big push to sign him during last summer’s transfer window.
And it appears as though, despite the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo as head coach, and Fabio Paratici as director of football, he is still on the club’s radar this summer. According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, Tottenham have gone as far as sending in an offer to Inter for his services.
The news was relayed on to fans via @thespursweb, and there were plenty that were delighted to hear the news as they couldn’t contain their excitement at the potential deal:
“Here we go… COME ON”
Should Spurs sign Skriniar?
Yes!
No!
Having gone through plenty of managerial candidates before finally getting one in place, hopefully they don’t take as long finding a new centre-back as well.
