A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the latest claim to emerge from Alasdair Gold. 

According to the journalist, Tottenham are set to announce a new training kit sponsor for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

Tottenham have been one of the clubs to suffer considerably during the pandemic, as the Lilywhites reported expected losses in the region of £200m.

The report suggests Liverpool and Chelsea, who also have a training wear sponsor, earn in the region of £10-£20m per year from the deals with their respective partners.

Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from Gold to share their thoughts at the claim, and it seems they were pleased to hear the club were finding another source of income.

It was announced Spurs had recently repaid their £175m loan with the Bank of England after raising £250m through a private placement scheme organised by Bank of America.
