Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been discussing a news update involving Oliver Skipp that emerged on social media.

The Athletic recently published an article about Spurs and the futures of multiple players at the club. The report, written by Charlie Eccleshare, claims that while Moussa Sissoko could well be sold, Skipp is someone who could yet be loaned out this summer and the same applies for Japhet Tanganga, who interests Turkish club Galatasaray.

These Spurs fans won’t be happy if Skipp is loaned out and they’re making their frustration clear about the update.

Skipp impressed for Norwich in the 2020/21 campaign, as he played regularly in the Championship and grabbed a pretty good WhoScored rating of 6.9/10 as he held his own in the second tier. Former manager Jose Mourinho hailed the Englishman, describing him as a future captain of the club.

With the club looking to sell Sissoko and Harry Winks’ future looking uncertain, it could leave spots in midfield. Skipp is someone who can fill those spots, especially considering that he comes with the confidence of impressing for the Canaries last term.
