Alasdair Gold has been speaking on his latest YouTube video to discuss all things transfer-related regarding Tottenham Hotspur.

The north London club are yet to bring in any new players this summer under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo, but Gold has provided a promising update.

Will Spurs break back into the top four this season?

It has been claimed Spurs are closing in on the signing of Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and have their sights set on signing two new centre-backs this summer.

Spurs have been linked with a long list of players, which is reportedly typical of Fabio Paratici’s way of working, but with around one month until the 2021/22 Premier League campaign kicks off, Spurs fans will want to see new faces arriving.

Discussing the timescale in which Spurs fans can expect to wait before potentially seeing some transfer activity, Gold had the following to say.

“I’m led to believe that maybe towards the end of this week, definitely next week, we’re going to see a lot of movement at Tottenham Hotspur.

“Because it has to happen. [Nuno] Espirito Santo has to have more of a settled idea of what his squad is going to look like.”

TIF Thoughts on Tottenham’s transfer business…

It has been a summer of change at Spurs with the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo as ’s replacement and the arrival of their new director of football in Fabio Paratici.

However, we think there will be many Spurs fans who would have liked to see some players come through the door and equally some players depart the club by now.

It was believed to be a summer of rebuilding for Spurs following their underwhelming 2020/21 campaign, but they are yet to make any moves with the clock quickly ticking down on their opening Premier League game on 15th August.

Even if Spurs are able to get a couple of players in by the end of next week, it will leave them with not much time to bed into their new club before the beginning of the Premier League campaign.
