has been discussing all things related in his latest YouTube video amid the club’s pre-season preparations.

The main subject of the video was potential incomings and departures this summer following the arrival of the new director of football, Fabio Paratici.

Are you happy with Nuno as the new ?

The Spurs journalist spoke about the methods Paratici uses in his search for potential new signings which may come as a surprise to some.

According to people Gold has spoken to, Paratici targets up to 10 players in specific positions before making his mind up on which one he will look to bring into the club.

Speaking on the matter, Gold had the following to say.

“It’s really interesting. It’s a mad way of doing things, but if it works for him… So what he does is when he’s looking for a player to fill a certain role within a club, he will go into the market and he will negotiate deals – quite a few of them to an advanced stage – for up to 10 different players for that one position.

“He will then, at the end of that process, what he’s got his certain number of ones that he kind of feels like I can pull the trigger on one of these, he will pick his man.”

People who know him have said it is mad to see him work, and it brings with it benefits and it brings with it problems.”

TIF Thoughts on Tottenham’s summer moves…

Now the European Championship is over, we feel Tottenham have to turn their attention to bringing in new players.

The club was expected to undergo somewhat of a rebuild this summer following the underwhelming 2020/21 campaign. However, to date, they have still not signed a single player.

Taking 72 days to find their new manager will not have helped this, but now Nuno Espirito Santo is in, we feel should be doing all they can to get their targets through the door so their new coach has as much time as possible to implement his methods on the squad.
