A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the latest video to emerge on the club’s official account.
The video uploaded on the club’s account was of their manager Steve Bruce’s take following their 1-1 draw against Rotherham United in a pre-season friendly.
Are you happy with Bruce in charge?
“We were definitely better when it went on, but it’s pre-season. They’ve been working extremely hard. There’s a few tired legs but that’s the way pre-season is,” said Bruce.
Bruce’s men were trailing until the 84th minute when Jeff Hendrick headed home a late equaliser to spare the Toon’s blushes.
However, Newcastle fans flocked to the tweet to vent their frustrations at their 60-year-old manager following their third pre-season friendly.
What exactly did these Newcastle fans have to say?
“Oh my god this man just makes me more and more angry every time I hear him speak. Good to see the academy lads “running around” This man is a fraud!!!! #NUFC“
“Draw with Rotherham, beaten by York. #bruceout another joke season with joke interviews in a joke accent coming up!”
“This would be embarrassing coming from an under 9’s coach let alone a Premier League manager.”
“What a shambles of a club”
The Toon were without their star man Allan Saint-Maximin for their clash against the Millers on Tuesday, which was put down to an illness suffered during the week.
With just a matter of weeks before the start of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign, it seems there is a lot of frustration among the Newcastle fans towards their manager Steve Bruce.
