After not featuring in Arsenal’s squad for their 2-1 defeat against Hibernian on Tuesday evening, reports have claimed that Willock has a free choice of which club he joins on loan this season.

Willock endeared himself to the Newcastle faithful last season as he equalled Alan Shearer’s record of scoring in seven consecutive Premier League games.

While Willock was still with the Magpies, reports claimed that the club hoped they could conclude a deal on a permanent basis for £20 million.
Willock arrived on deadline day in January and turned out to be Steve Bruce’s sole signing that window, but he was all that was required to help fight off the fear of relegation on Tyneside.
